Tonight I step out on a dangerous curve instead of following the straight and narrow. I love history, and this blog is about historical figures, places, and how they shape us or shape the world.
However, tonight I am writing from the heart. I have been diagnosed with BiPolar Type 2. I have had this diagnosis for some time, in fact, while I was in the military. Recently, things have gotten rough again. So this past February, I wrote a book called “Not All Disabilities Are Seen: Living With BiPolar Disorder.”
This book was written from the heart and speaks of my diagnosis, denial, acceptance, relapse, and growth over the years with this disorder.
My hope is that my book will reach someone who is struggling and give them hope, open their eyes, and understand that I can relate. If you read this post and know of someone who is Bipolar or has any mental diagnosis, have them read this on the Kindle. I am positive it will help.
Keep in mind, it is not a medical journal, nor am I an expert; it is written from the perspective of the patient. It is brutal, it is honest, it is embarrassing, but I hope if I can help just one person, it will be mission accomplished.
You will find the book on Amazon. If you yourself read, leave an honest review on Amazon. Reach out here or on my Facebook page, “From My Desk To Your Heart,” and leave a message there as well. All I ask is honesty. Thank you for reading my blogs, thank you for being you.
